Define the thread and gate connection
Provide thread form, pitch, direction and threaded length, plus the dimensions of the connection to the gate and stem nut. Mark shoulders and other locating features. Nominal valve size alone is not sufficient to manufacture a matching stem.
Specify forging and machining requirements
Identify the required steel grade, heat-treatment condition and finished dimensions. The listing includes CNC machining and polishing; confirm which operations and surface requirements apply to your part instead of treating every listed option as a single specification.
Agree sample acceptance
Define the critical dimensions, thread checks, surface condition and material documents required for approval. Review the gate valve stem inspection checklist before placing an order. Check legacy table values and incomplete units against the approved drawing.
