Gate valve stems
Start with the stainless steel gate valve stem or solid forged gate valve stem. Specify thread form, pitch and direction, stem length and the connections to the stem nut and gate.
Ball valve stems
Compare the stainless steel ball valve stem and solid forged ball valve stem. Define drive-end geometry, ball connection, retention features and material condition for your quarter-turn assembly.
Butterfly valve shafts
Choose the connection your assembly requires: a keyed upper pivot shaft or a splined upper shaft. Identify upper and lower shaft positions, mating dimensions and functional surfaces on the drawing.
Custom valve stem machining
